I’m a South African who has found myself in the general North Dakota area, running in snowy and cold (and getting colder) climates for the first time.
I typically run wearing prescription glasses (I’m near-sighted) but these either fog up or get obscured by melted snowflakes. When I take them off, my eyeballs get smacked by snowflakes.
does anyone have any opinions on wearing contact lenses over glasses, or vice versa?
in terms of protecting the eyes from either glare from the snow or windswept snow, does running in skiing goggles help in any way?
If anybody has any other advice, specifically to do with running and glasses/contact lenses, I’d be grateful if you shared it with me.
